LineThru collects nothing. Your audio never leaves your Mac. This website sets no cookies and counts visits anonymously on our own server — no third parties, nothing that can identify you.

LineThru routes audio from an input device to an output device on your Mac and displays levels while it does. All audio processing happens locally, in real time, on your machine. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

The app requests macOS audio-input (microphone) permission solely to read the input device you select for monitoring. It has no other use for that permission.

LineThru makes no network connections. It contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. It collects no personal information of any kind.

Settings (such as your selected devices and levels) are stored locally on your Mac and never leave it.

linethru.app sets no cookies, loads no third-party resources, and uses no third-party analytics or tracking.

To understand overall usage, the site records anonymous, first-party events on our own server: a timestamp, an event name (such as a page view or pressing the demo's START button), the page path, and the referring site. That is the entire record — no IP addresses are stored, no identifiers or fingerprints are created, and nothing can single out an individual visitor. Browsers that signal Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not recorded at all.

Standard web-server logs (IP address, request time) may be retained briefly for operational purposes only.

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
